SCBWI MIDSOUTH CONFERENCE!

I just love speaking at SCBWI conferences! 

The energy is so strong and positive! Everyone's there to learn and have some fun. I just love sharing my love of writing and illustrating children's books.

And besides, these poor folks haven't heard all of my corny jokes yet. You lucky people!

I usually talk about my career in commercial illustration, children's books, television, character design, and few other things.

Not sure if I'm imitating former President Richard Nixon here. Maybe I'm just saying "peace." Perhaps I'm ordering 2 glasses of the Pinot Grigio.

I always try to leave on a positive note. You can't get any more positive than "YES!"
